its total BS that you can only cap this skill in the pre nightfallen garden? How is someone supposed to cap this....I had no clue that the garden HAD fallen until i went into it? Is there anywhere else to cap this skill??? Or is there anyway for me to get into the regular garden before i beat the game?

DON'T PANIC! All you have to do is Pop outside of Tihark Orchard, go west about 50 feet, enter portal to the Orchard, and go west. The boss you're looking for is outside the walled area on the south side. If it's in the Nightfallen state, keep progressing through the game - eventually it goes back to normal.

Another thing you can do is find someone who has not yet got the Nightfallen Garden, and get them to go in with you. It won't work to use someone who has already beaten the game, tried that with a guildmate and it didn't work. Has to be someone who's not far enough in game yet. Basically, once you take the quest "Attack at the Kodash", it turns into the nightfallen version, so you want someone who has not yet done that quest.
I'm now taking a necro through the game, I'd be happy to help once I get that far in.

Keira Darkwind...thanks for the offer ....I just unlocked it thru the priest of balthazar its just that i think poor game design.

Thanks Kook, and your right i shouldn't panic but I think its ridiculous that I should have to "wait" until the end of the game to get a skill that is supposed to help me beat the game. I just think that if Anet is going to make an area that switches bosses/mobs etc that they should have the same opprotunities to capture the elite skills no matter what "version" of the area you are on. I only wanted it for a hero anyways so i just went and unlocked it at the priest but I think it totaly blows and is actually poor game development.

I understand your frustration... a little... but come on, the game doesn't hinge upon your having that one skill. And you DO have more than one opportunity to cap it. How is that poor game design and not you just being frustrated that you can't have something the moment you decide you want it?

There're several bosses that only spawn under certian circumstances, like only during quest X, or after quest X, or during mission X. Yeah, it's frustrating when you don't know about the restrictions and go out only to find out that the boss you're looking for isn't there.

Best thing to do is check guildwiki and see when and where skills are available.

lol yeah i guess i was a little oveboard in my reaction but its still frustrating. And as far as I know that is the only chance to cap that particular skill, before the garden falls into darkness..until AFTER u beat the game...since I am a mostly casual player and still haven't beaten NF on any characters (yes I have owned it since release) so maybe u can see my "grief" in the poor game design... and like i mentioned earlier I have already taken a different route to procure the skill but it is still irksome :P
